Tim Lockwood
CEO

Tim Lockwood worked as a Police officer for Hampshire Constabulary where he helped to develop the very successful PPO (Priority and Persistent Offender) scheme. During this time he worked closely with a number of charities and eventually left the Police to take up a senior management role in one of them. Tim has now amassed over 16 years of senior management experience in the charity sector. He first started managing community charities before working for a ground breaking Cancer Charity. Tim specialises in growing organisations through strategic leadership and a passion to see charities grow in their objectives to reach those they serve. Over a 16 year period, Tim has worked to reshape and envision a number of charities and has successfully seen those charities grow in size and influence. In 2020 Tim moved to Headway Southampton to take up the role of Chief Executive.

Tara Doel
Business Develop Manager

Tara has worked in senior management roles in the charity and voluntary sector for the last 21 years. Her main areas of expertise are around developing robust systems, procedures, and funding streams to sustain and grow smaller charities; these have included Hampton Trust and Yellow Door within the Domestic and Sexual abuse field. She has also worked for Southampton Voluntary Services and Saints Foundation as their Senior Grant Fundraiser. Away from work, she is a massive Saints fan, travelling home and away weekly as well as having a massive love for F1 and all things arts and crafts.
